This is the last week before the CT Republican Primary. Peter Schiff is depending on volunteers like you to do phone banking to raise voter awareness of his candidacy and persuade people to vote for him. Go there and do it. It's easy.
Meanwhile, independent SchiffStorm.com is trying to raise extra buzz and rally the troops by promoting a big phone bank push to make 25,000 calls this weekend. Go there and find out more.

Bug Fixes:
- YouTube video playing on iPad is fixed with the brand new iPad interface.
- Apparently the touches being ignored to start playing a video on iPad also may have affected devices with iOS 4. This should now be fixed for all devices. However, please note the following change: For a video to be marked as 'read', you must view the video for at least a minute.
- There have been a few reports that YouTube videos always appeared crossed-out even if you have network connectivity. Please verify if your Apple YouTube app works by clicking the blue title text above the video which should launch the Apple YouTube player. (You can also just launch Apple's YouTube player yourself.) If you get a "Cannot connect to YouTube" like message, you have a more general problem that typically affects jailbroken phones. However, if your phone is not jailbroken and you are having problems, please contact me.
Version 1.0.1 Now Available
Apple just approved 1.0.1 and is available now at the App Store.
New in Version 1.0.1
• Improved HTML handling to properly display special html characters in their ASCII form.
• Increased hit area of Info button.
• Replaced star background images in detail views with pure gradient which reduces memory profile.
• Improved handling when device is locked. Application will now wait until device is unlocked to fetch new entries.
• Removed explicit pop-up alerts for memory warnings and just handle the warnings quietly behind the scenes.
Note for existing users: Due to the aggressive caching of of the app, the new HTML conversion improvements will only affect new fetched entries. If you see HTML codes in old entries and it bothers you, you may want to uninstall the app from your device and reinstall it. This will delete the cache so all entries will benefit from the new improvements.

The app is now on iTunes! That approval process took along time and I was starting to worry, but Apple probably has been preoccupied with WWDC.

Also, I just submitted a new version which contains some minor usability improvements. Hopefully the process will be much faster now. Keep an eye out for it.
